Advanced Ads in a nutshell
I tested and used plenty of WordPress plugins to serve and optimize ads and AdSense. Unfortunately, the popular ones mostly concentrate on ad management, ad serving and statistics. They not only lacked functions to really boost ad income, but also didn’t provide the technical means to extend them. So I was hacking a lot in the past.
I was hoping for a long time to find a more sustainable solution, but finally decided to build my own ad management solution with a focus on speed and flexibility. As a result, I published Advanced Ads as a free plugin on wordpress.org.

The plugin gets new features almost every week and more and more websites start using it. I would love to go on concentrating on users feedback and new features and not on time-consuming and fancy marketing campaigns.

What are those premium add-ons for?
The premium add-ons add functions to Advanced Ads that can boost your ad income. I am using them for years now in form of code snippets, but with Advanced Ads am finally able to give them away. If you don’t know about this offer here, you would pay $19 for each add-on, but they would pay themselves off in no time.

this site has a very low ctr and cpc. after checking analytics i noticed 70% of traffic is mobile! i then checked adsense ctr for different platforms and the ctr was abysmal on mobile devices. i would like the sticky add-on to target mobile devices but would also like to know which ad networks permit “anchor ads”. maybe you can do a post on it. thank you for proving great tips and tools on ad optimization.
Thanks Amir, for posting your issue. Many publishers are as surprised as you are when checking their website stats for mobile traffic. I also consider your idea with a post on mobile advertisers. And of course, you should just receive the sticky ads add-on via mail.

Hi… Great plugin. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use. No fuss. It just makes sense. Easy as. When I started my search for an ad plugin I was torn between this one and two others, but decided to go for this one. No regrets yet.
Btw if you’re still giving away add-ons I would like the Responsive Ads… Otherwise I’ll just add it to my wishlist. 🙂 Sounds like a great add-on. Keep up the good work!

Advanced Ads is a winner – it’s installed on my major website and also my sandpit. I hope this is just a temporary glitch but it’s disappeared from the back-end even though the ads are still being served. It’s ever so slightly frustrating as I’m currently trying to optimise the ads.
No need for any freebies. I just want access to Advanced Ads back. Please.
Hi Dominic, thank you for your message. When did the problem start? There was no update for 2 weeks and it works on all of my environments. Could you try deactivating other plugins to check if this is the cause?

I recently installed Advances Ads and I am indeed impressed by its flexibility and ease of use. I am still struggling to properly monetize my mobile traffic, and I would really like to try out the Sticky Ads add-on, especially after reading your post on boosting ad revenue with sticky ads.
